My name is Sharita Bilson and I'm a modern-day Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Grace Place Therapy, LLC. I currently hold a license to practice therapy in the state of Arkansas. (#P2010084)

I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful children! I graduated from John Brown University in 2018 with double Master's Degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy & Clinical Mental Health Counseling with certification in Play Therapy. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2012 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studied at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

The counseling relationship is intended to provide a safe space for exploration, vulnerability & renewal for clients. In therapy, trust is established to do the hard work that would push you to becoming a better you. You can expect hard work in digging deeper into generational patterns, understanding yourself and others and work to cultivate a life that is suitable for you. For others, life doesn’t reflect needing support in cultivating something new but rather, I can hold space as you process day to day life. Though I provide services to people of all backgrounds, I find joy in Black Mental Wellness. My therapeutic style is influenced by a range of theories such as Narrative Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Reality Therapy.

I specialize in helping individuals work through trauma, anxiety, depression and, women’s issues. I’m also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Sand Tray Therapy.

I have been recognized within the Little Rock, Arkansas community as one who strongly desires to see the stigma of mental health erased for everyone, especially within the Black community. I absolutely love being a therapist and plan to continue helping those who desire to make their mental health a priority while breaking generational curses!

Gracefully,

Sharita Bilson, MS, LPC
