At Grace Place Therapy, you can expect to be met right where you are in life with NO JUDGEMENT and a safe space curated just for you. It is common to feel a little nervous before your first reservation with your therapist and that’s ok. We make it our priority to cultivate a space for you to feel SAFE, HEARD, UNDERSTOOD & KNOWN. We believe this is foundational in building a healthy therapeutic relationship.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ambetter, Optum/United Healthcare & LYRA.

What if I don’t want to use insurance, can I pay out of pocket?

Absolutely. Your initial appointment investment is $200 and sessions thereafter are $175. These payments are due at the time of scheduling your reservation.

How many sessions will I need?

The amount of sessions needed is different for everyone. One thing to consider are the therapeutic goals that you establish with your therapist and how long it may take for you to obtain them. For context, some obtain their goals within 7-10 sessions. Others may have therapy for years. It depends on your needs. However, CONSISTENCY with sessions is KEY!

I don’t live in Arkansas. Can you still be my therapist?

Unfortunately, we can’t. Our therapists are only allowed to practice therapy in the state they are licensed in. Our therapists are currently licensed in the state of Arkansas.

What do you specialize in?

Our practice specializes in Black Mental Health and Wellness. Also, each therapist has their own unique way of doing therapy and you can learn more of them here.

Do you offer therapy services for minors?

No, we do not. We serve clients ages 21+.

Do you offer couples therapy?

No, we do not. However, we love to refer to some of the best couples therapists in our area!

Are sessions virtual or in-person?

We are a VIRTUAL Private Practice. We utilize a HIPAA compliant software that allows us to provide Telehealth services safely. Please note, you must physically be in the state of ARKANSAS at the time of your reservation.

Do you offer weekend appointments?

No, we do not. We value practicing what we teach our clients in having a healthy work-life balance. Also, we use our weekends to refresh so we are our best selves in serving you!

How do I know if I need therapy?

We believe everyone benefits from therapy! However, if you have to ask yourself this question then, you may be ready to start your therapy journey. You may complete a new client form here.
