My name is Kenneth Norman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I currently hold a license to practice therapy in Arkansas (#P1804052).

I’m a graduate of Henderson State University where I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Furthermore, I’ve earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Play Therapy.

The therapeutic relationship’s intention is to offer a safe haven that I’ll deliver for expressions of feelings, thoughts, and emotions. In counseling, rapport is established and a mentality of confidence to build on strengths one already has as well as recognize areas that need work to allow an improved individual within self. The areas that need assistance are allotted by diving into past experiences and generational trends, as well as understanding of oneself and others in hopes of promoting a healthy adult lifestyle.

Though I am inclusive to services for all backgrounds, I find extreme passion in Black Mental Health. My therapeutic style is influenced by a range of theories which include Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Health.

I specialize in working with individuals dealing with the following: trauma (racial, relational/familial), stress and anger management (work and home), anxiety, depression, grief, and men’s issues. I’m also trained in Sand Tray Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectic Behavior Training.

I wholeheartedly adore being a mental health therapist and intend to continue assisting those who want to finally take charge of their livelihood and dismantle stigmas.

Let’s Work!
